Ya know I think I might have an addiction
A problem or maybe some kind of affliction
Something that's been holding on to all my attention
I've thought about it hard and maybe it's something I should mention

The Roku and the Apple TV
Never thought about them much but now they're a part of me
Forget the blu ray player and the dvd's please.
Don't need to mess with discs when there's a system of ease

On a tablet a computer or cell phone
There's so many ways to get your favorite movies or shows
When the lights go out well the TV goes on
And in the morning I keep asking where the time has gone

Turn off the tv and go to bed
I've got work in three hours what's wrong with my head
Can't seem to let the remote control go
And now my eyes won't

Hard to believe there was ever a time
If you missed it on tv then you would just have to whine
Because a Charlie Brown Christmas was a tradition that stuck
And if you weren't home to watch it you were just out of luck

I own every season of Friends and Big Bang
When I need a prime break I watch things that are strange
Every now and then I feel like I've wasted my time
When a movie like Bright doesn't live up to the hype

I've bought a few movies that I still haven't seen
Well if I'm being honest more like seventy three
It's hard to catch up sometimes it feels like a chore
To the point at times I don't wanna watch anymore

Turn off the tv and go to bed
I've got work in three hours what's wrong with my head
Can't seem to let the remote control go
And now my eyes won't

If I could go back in time buy some Amazon Stock
Stay at home watch the tube would be my only job
That used to sound like an absolute dream
Now I see it's not what it seemed

It's hard to choose man there's so much to watch
Might be time to take it down at least one notch
Don't wanna end up with my brain all fried
Because I binge watched Fringe or Once Upon a Time
